Emily Stokes
Minister of Children & Families

Emily attended the University of Evansville and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with a minor in Art.

In June 2015, she began her ministry at FCC as the Minister of Children & Families, and we are very blessed to have her in our congregation.

Ron Hall
Director of Music & Organist
Ron has been the Music Director and Organist at First Congregational Church for over 25 years. He grew up in Huntsville Alabama, where he was an organ student of Kenneth Turvey, a graduate of the Cincinnati Conservatory. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Sacred Music and Organ at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, and studied organ there with Helen Trotter Midkiff. He then studied conducting and choral technique with Irwin Ray, a student of Robert Shaw.

Ron completed his Master’s Degree in Organ Performance at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, where he studied with Kathleen Thomerson, and in 1989, he was appointed Music Director and Organist at First Congregational Church. He enjoys being a part of such a successful and high-quality tradition, and he feels very blessed to be a part of the FCC Ministry.

Hannah Rice
Acting Minister of Administration and Membership

Hannah is back at First Congregational Church of St. Louis after serving for almost three years as the Interim Minister of Faith Development for Children and Youth.

Hannah graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri with a BA in Communication and a minor in Religious Studies. She then spent three years in the Master of Divinity program at Eden Theological Seminary, graduating in 2012.
