Confirmation: Every other school year, students in 7th/8th grade participate in weekly Sunday meetings, a parent support group, service projects, field trips and mentoring with an adult church member leading to a decision about full participation as a member of First Church.

Our 2009 group of Confirmands with Rev. Ron

This year, we begin with a group of 7th and 8th graders in partnership with Kirkwood United Church of Christ for an experiential confirmation journey. Stay tuned for the details on this group. We have 15 kids in our group and it is an exciting journey with Pastor Steve!

Sunday, February 26 – Class at 9am

Sunday, February 26 – Field trip to The Gathering Church (meet at FCC at 5:30pm to carpool, return around 8:30pm) This is another opportunity for mentors to connect with their confirmands.

Friday/Saturday, March 9-10 – Healthy Relationships Retreat at Kirkwood UCC (More details to come on times)
