Maundy Thursday Supper

It was Passover when Jesus and the disciples gathered for the celebration meal. Jesus washed the disciples’ feet and urged them to do the same to one another, as he said, “Love one another as I have loved you.” Maundy is the English form of the Latin word “Commandment,” reflecting this commandment.
